Escape from the Room

Champion of Champions room, very tricky but could possibly have been easier if we could hear any of the game master announcements... so quiet we were unable to make out what was being said and gave up trying to listen as couldn't keep everyone quiet.

Was OK. Went with the family however the setup:quiz wasn't explained very well. Thought we were looking for one answer per section of the puzzle but that wasn't the case. Was fun but very confusing compared to other escape rooms we've been to.

We’ve just done the Mixed Up Mind of Mr Crabheal and were so impressed! We’re veteran escape room-goers and have very high expectations, but this went above and beyond. The production values are superb and all of the components had been kept in very good condition. I was also really impressed that there was very little need for electronics - a huge amount of thought had been put into how to keep things ‘analogue’. The variety and quality of puzzles were excellent and the density of them was truly spectacular. Whilst there were only two of us, there was easily enough to keep a group of 6 busy and the layout of the room meant people would have enough space to either work individually or collaborate without feeling like they were stepping on each other’s toes. We were really grateful for the option to add an extra 30 minutes when we booked - it gave us the chance to have a go at far more of the puzzles than we would otherwise. We also loved the fact that it wasn’t just a matter of win or lose, since there were just so many puzzles, but that you also get a percentage score for the number that you solve correctly. In short, this is a beautifully constructed room and a fantastic experience, which we’d wholeheartedly recommend to anyone, no matter their level of escape room experience. We can’t wait to try some of the other rooms!
