Houdini’s Escape Room Experience - Rochdale

I had high hopes for this escape room but I was left disappointed. I booked online as I saw a deal for half price in Easter school holidays. There is 3 of us, but you had to have 4 so get the deal. So I booked for 4. £53, which was on the pricey side but it was something different. The rooms are new so it was lovely and clean. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. However the back story to the room needs work. Build up the atmosphere. I also found the clues didn’t flow. There were boxes not opened, clues weren’t found but we managed to ‘escape’. I think the problem was the staff member was activating the locks and cupboards. So without finding the correct clues or sequence, we were progressing. So I left thinking, what was in the box, why were there so many bricks? What was the computer disks for? All felt a little disjointed. It was also advertised online we got a complementary group photo, we were never offered at the end. Not the best one I’ve been to. But there is potential with some work.

Aisha was amazing, very helpful and very professional and we really enjoyed the Sneaky Finders escape room.

Laiba was more than great with us! We did two rooms and she couldn’t have made our experience any better! Would recommend!
