West Kirby Escape Room

Discovered this place after searching for things to do with my 16yo son. We were very lucky to get a slot on the same day. We’ve done 5 or 6 escape rooms before but this is probably one of the BEST escape room experiences of them all. The decor and props are top quality and the puzzles were pitched at just the right level for us. I understand that the puzzles and clues can be toned up or down, depending on the experience level of the player. Lots of different and original mechanics and electronics used across the experience which were very enjoyable to solve. Price is perfectly reasonable and the owner Gavin is a great host who clearly has a passion for a good escape room and the experience of the player. Would absolutely recommend to beginners and experienced puzzlers. You will have a great time. Photos carefully taken so as to not spoil any clues.

We had a great time today. We have done a couple of escape rooms before, but first time for our friends. They were a little uncertain if it was going to be for them, but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Gavin was a great host, making it feel like a very personalised experience. He gave us a few tips and hints to help us along, and was very generous in allowing us extra time to finish. This is a brilliant little hidden gem in West Kirby. Exactly what this sleepy seaside town needs. A fun, well thought of escape room with immaculate themeing that felt so immersive at times. I've done a few escape rooms around Chester and Liverpool and this was exactly the same, if not, better. Great puzzles with lots to think about. Loved the hidden room aspect, we weren't expecting that at all. Gavin was lovely and welcoming, and even gave us a little family history about the building. Can't wait to try out the next theme. Highly recommend!
